As a client in NESWC's wound care program, your patients never have to leave your facility for wound care. Our physicians, surgeons, and APRN’s come to the facility to evaluate skin and wound issues. We save you time and costs associated with transporting patients to remote facilities, and eliminate the resident’s risk of exposure at outside treatment centers and to outside elements.
State-of-the-Art Products
Though NESWC has tested most of the more than 3,000 products on the market today, and recommended those that have the greatest success results, we will initially use the facility formulary. If a patient’s wound fails to improve due to product failure, the NESWC provider will discuss options with the facility’s administration.
Bedside Wound Debridement and Skin Biopsy
NESWC's trained physicians, surgeons and APRN’s provide bedside debridement, incision and draining, and skin biopsies eliminating the need for expensive debriding agents or transportation to outside treatment facilities.
Minimized Maintenance
By using advanced products and procedures, dressings can remain on the wound for much longer periods than with traditional wound care. Dressings that used to be changed twice a day can now be changed twice a week. The result is that nurses are relieved of frequent changes and can devote more time to the overall care of their residents.

Because we are consultant physicians, surgeons and APRN’s, all of our services are provided to you at no direct cost. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and participate in most managed care programs. |
